First Pipefitter
Job description
A first pipefitter will independently assembly metal pipes and installations according to isometric drawings for projects throughout the Netherlands.
Activities
- Reading and working according to isometrics
- Executing mechanic activities if necessary
- Cutting and polishing of Pipes
- Setting and bonding welds and identify materials
- Bring parts in its place with hoists and lifting equipment
- Preparation of test activities and execute activities to perform pressure measurement
- Submission of information for quality foreman
- Applying the necessary support constructions
- Operational leadership to upcoming fitters and mechanics
Job Requirements
- VCA 1 E-018
- Good verbal skills in either Dutch, English or German
- Flange mechanic certificate (high and low pressure)
- Independently reading , understanding, surveying and working from isometrics
- Driving license B and in posession of an own car
- Lower Technical School
- VCA VOL E-017
- Compressed air certificate
- H2S certificate
- Working with platforms certificate
- Handling loads certificate
- Forklift Certificate
- You carry out all your work in compliance with the required safety, health and hygiene
- You possess specialized knowledge
- You can work independently
- You are flexible, enthusiastic, motivated and prepared to work throughout the Netherlands on a project basis
- You are prepared to spend the night if necessary
